So Long PA.. Hello World!

First part of the trip for ME, complete. Left Pennsylvania, all I've known for 20 some years, behind last night.

I made it into West Virginia where my family and Sarah's had a nice dinner together and spent some time just hanging out and enjoying each other's company while we could.

Afterwards my family and I went back to our hotel to give Sarah her last night with her family and my last night with mine... but alas the night is over and it is the day of our departure!

I write this with all the excitement in the world, but also with more butterflies in my stomach than I would've ever imagined! I'm so nervous about what this change holds in store for us, but I know once we get on the road in about 2 to 3 hours that I'll start feeling much better.

Our plan today is to leave by 11, and drive to Terre Haute, IN. It's there that we will stop for the night and prepare for the next day. No real plans for stops... (maybe the Motor Speedway as we pass through Indianapolis.) But we'll see... today will be the shortest day of driving... covering just about 400 miles. It'll also be the toughest day, not just because it's the first day and we'll be really sad for the first part of it... but also because it looks like we'll be driving through some snow storms. But by time we stop we will be in a new time zone and one day closer to arriving in Burbank!

I just wanted to update where I was so far, but I'm sure I'll write again tonight after we stop and hopefully upload some photos. We got some last night of our families, but there's no real point of uploading those...nor can I because my Mom's camera doesn't have her cable to hook it up to the computer!

So in the words of one Heath Ledger as he played his character the Joker in the Dark Knight..."And here...we...go!"
